nice purge there in the middle i like that comming from a bug. im 16 and a 73 super beetle is my ride. its fun, but im not sure what to do with the engine to add more umph if you know what i mean. right now i have 1600cc in it, and i would like to bring it up to around like 1900cc but im not sure what the best way to go about doing that would be… if anyone knows the cheepest, but reliable way that would be great.

Man, I know this is a year old, but you should REALLY learn a thing or two about drag racing before posting stupid comments. a 6 in the 1/8 mile is far from a 13 second 1/4 mile car… A 6 flat in the 1/8 actually translates to around a 9.36 theoretical time in the 1/4. Your comment just bothered me way too much to let go…I **** it when ppl post stupid **** trying to look smart… they end up looking like a fool.

Dude, a VW was my first vehicle I bought in SOCAL. 64 Micro bus with a 1835cc and duel carbs. The stinger got me lots of tickets, but it was fun taking out beetles on the line.

Define “short shifting” or at least your version of it.The car has a shift light, set at plenty of RPM. As to the nitrous, it’s a small motorcycle sized shot.
