still don’t understand how dieing is a good thing. and by the way the beetle was re-disegned in 1967, and 6 TIMES in the 70’s with the purpose of improving crash safety (1971, 1972, 1974, 1975 and 1976). so again I strongly doubt that the car we see crashing is from the 30’s.

This model would be capable of about 80mph, or over 120kmh.

The Beetle was not redesigned since the 30’s by safety means, They added a brace in the door and seat belts, that’s it. A crash test of a ‘38 would be no different.

Beetles never came with air bags, unless maybe if if it was a later model Mexican market but this one is a 73-77

first of all I don’t see why you are using such derogatory expression in a civil conversation.
second of all I strongly doubt that they crashed a model from 1938.
third of all where did I ever write that I was expecting the passengers to survive?

Idiot, the structure he means. You dont can expect, that anyone in a car, what was designed in the 30s will survive at hat speed and offset.
